Sara & Braely

A Day Unfolding Across Snæfellsnes

Sara and Braely eloped on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula on a cold day in March, surrounded by shifting landscapes and open space.

We began inland, where the ground was still covered in snow and the air felt quiet and still. Their ceremony unfolded slowly, with nothing but the landscape around them.

As the day moved on, we made our way toward the coast. The scenery changed, the wind picked up, and the ocean came into view.

By the time we reached the black sand beach, it felt raw and untamed. A different kind of energy, shaped by movement, sound, and the vastness of it all.

Their day wasn’t built around a plan, but around presence.
Around moving with whatever Iceland gave them in that moment.

This gallery reflects that shift.
From stillness to motion.
From quiet to something more wild.
