Hey, I'm Ívar.

I was born and raised in Iceland and I've spent my whole life falling in love with this place. I know where the hidden waterfalls are, how the light moves across the mountains, and exactly which roads lead somewhere worth going.

But really…my favorite part of this job isn't the landscapes. It's getting to spend a whole day with two people who are completely crazy about each other and helping them experience something they never could have imagined.

I only work with a small number of couples each year, so when we work together, you have my full attention from the first message to the final photo.

01. We get to know each other

We'll hop on a call and I want to hear everything. Who you are, what makes you feel alive, what you're dreaming about. That's where we start.

02. I design your day around you

Based on everything you share, I'll build a day that actually fits you. The locations, the flow, the details that make it feel like yours and nobody else's.

03. We go live it

On your day, all you have to do is show up and be present with each other. I'll handle everything else and capture the whole story exactly as it happens.

  • Words cannot describe how amazing of an experience we had with Ívar in Iceland during our elopement. Ívar did an incredible job timely responding to our inquiry, setting up an initial consultation, and was able to answer all of our questions along the way. Before we even arrived in Iceland, Ívar sent us numerous options for locations for our photos and made suggestions based off of our style. During the photoshoot, Ívar’s knowledge and skill made the whole process smooth and fun. We talked about our families, our lives back home, and really got to know each other during the photoshoot. Of course, most importantly, the photos turned out incredible and we have not been able to stop showing everyone we meet these photos. I cannot recommend Ívar enough!
