Chasing the Midnight Sun in Snæfellsnes

Robert and Alyssa had already said their vows back home in the States, but brought their wedding clothes to Iceland for one more adventure together.

On June 23rd, just two days after the summer solstice, we set out across the Snæfellsnes Peninsula beneath the midnight sun. From dramatic sea cliffs and black sand beaches to quiet fields of wildflowers, we followed the light as it slowly moved across the landscape.

As midnight approached, the sky softened into shades of pink and gold, giving us that endless summer light Iceland is known for.

No ceremony. No timeline. Just two newlyweds, an Icelandic summer night, and the sun that never really set.
